CanTek Safety Systems understands the utmost importance of Safety in the Crane Industry. Our goal is to design and manufacture robust and reliable Crane Safety Systems to prevent crane accidents that can cause damage to property and injury to personnel at the work place and its surroundings.
   

Brief History​

CanTek Safety Systems was founded in Australia by a team of crane safety specialists, electronics engineers and developers of Embedded Instrumentation and Control Systems.

​

The team, with many years of experience in the crane and lifting industry, was initially formed to design a simple and operator-friendly Electronic Safe Load Monitoring System for mobile cranes.

​

The success of the first system and the rapid pace of technological innovations that followed have led to the development of more advanced types and models of Electronic Safety Systems to suit not only all types of cranes, but also loaders, hoists and other lifting equipment for the Construction, Mining, Shipyard, Oil & Gas and other related Industries.

 

CanTek has marked its place in this highly-specialised field and is one of today’s leaders in the manufacture and supply of Load Moment Indicators and Safety Systems for cranes and lifting equipment worldwide.

Industry Standards

CanTek Systems have been designed to conform to known International Standards on Crane Automatic Safe Load Indicators, such as the British Standard BS 7262 “Specification for Automatic Safe Load Indicators”, Australian Standard AS 1418 “Cranes, Hoists and Winches” and Australian Standard AS 2550 “Cranes, Hoists and Winches - Safe Use.”

CanTek products also comply with all applicable Essential Requirements of the CE Directives in accordance with EN ISO 17050-1:2004.
